Chainlancer is a decentralized platform that enables secure and trustless transactions between freelancers and clients through the use of blockchain technology, ensuring timely payments and protecting against chargebacks.

2. How does Chainlancer work?

Chainlancer follows a simple process:

1.) The contractor completes the work and encrypts it using some key.

2.) The encrypted work is uploaded to a secure and decentralized file store.

3.) Upon payment in full, the client receives the decryption key.

4.) The client uses the key to decrypt the work bundle and obtain the completed work.

3. How do I sign up for Chainlancer?

No need to sign up, just connect your wallet!

4. Is my work safe on Chainlancer?

Chainlancer uses the encryption methods provided by the Concordia Protocol to securely store and deliver your deliverable; please read up on its process and understand the risks.

5. How do I ensure that I will receive payment for my work?

Chainlancer leverages Ethereum smart contracts to hold the payment in escrow until the terms of the agreement are met. Once you deliver the encrypted work, and the client confirms their satisfaction, the smart contract releases the funds to you. This process ensures that you receive payment for your work.

6. How does Chainlancer handle disputes?

In the case of a dispute, both parties are encouraged to communicate and resolve the issue amicably. If the issue remains unresolved, you can reach out to Chainlancer's support team for assistance. We are committed to providing fair and impartial solutions to disputes.

7. What are the fees for using Chainlancer?

Currently the fee is fixed at %1 per transaction; however, this is subject to change as we build out our application. That being said, we commit to keep our fees as low as possible. Please note that Ethereum network fees, also known as gas fees, may apply for transactions and are not controlled by our platform.

8. Can I use Chainlancer for non-development projects?

Yes, Chainlancer is designed to support various types of digital work exchanges, including but not limited to graphic design, digital art, and content creation. As long as the work can be encrypted and securely delivered through our platform, you can use Chainlancer to facilitate your transactions.
